White Cane Day of North Texas & White Settlement Walk
White Cane Day is a celebration of independence for all white cane and dog guide users. We want our North Texas communities to see the value and freedom that the cane represents. This year, the White Cane Day of North Texas is collaborating with the City of White Settlement and White Settlement ISD’s efforts to host a White Cane Day of their own. Please join the celebration and show support for our fellow community of individuals who are blind and low vision.
The walk will begin at West Elementary, located at 8900 Oels St. in White Settlement, TX 76108 and proceeed east along White Settlement Rd, then conclude with speeches and refreshments at White Settelement Public Library, 8215 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76108.
