The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and Disability Support Services offices at universities will sometimes pay the conference fees for consumers, students and employees who wish to attend. We welcome this support, and we want to offer everyone clear direction about how to provide this assistance.
Students should discuss their desire to attend the conference with their transition counselors or other service providers. Once an entity has agreed to assist someone by paying conference fees, he or she should submit a purchase order to our accounting team (via fax to 281–809–4860 or e-mail to email@example.com). Upon receipt of this information, NFBTX will generate an invoice for the designated staff member. (Employees should follow the same procedure if their supervisor will be covering their registration costs.)
