WHAT:                 NFB-NEWSLINE® OPEN HOUSE & CHAPTER BUILDING

WHEN:                May 23, 2026 from 10:30 A.M.-1 P.M.

WHERE:              Joe A. Guerra Laredo Public Library

                             1120 E. Calton Rd, Laredo, TX 78041

Join members of the National Federation of the Blind of Texas on May 23 at 10:30 a.m. until noon as we introduce blind and print disabled Laredo and Webb County residents to our audio newspaper service. You don’t need to be a technology whiz to enjoy access to over 600 publications, including: the San Antonio Express News, Corpus Christi Caller Times, Texas Monthly, and a dozen more Texas newspapers and magazines. Come learn how you can subscribe to and enjoy this free service. We’ll sign you up on-site.

We invite anyone who is interested in learning more about the National Federation of the Blind to join us after the open house from 12-1 p.m. We will explore the possibility of starting a new chapter in the Laredo area and share how you can get involved.
