NFBTX Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee

Along with monthly articles on topics significant to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the NFBTX DEI Committee has started the "Bridging Generations" initiative in January, 2026. All articles can be viewed on the NFB of Texas list serve and on the Texas state specific channel on NFB-NEWSLINE. “Bridging Generations" pairs an NFB of Texas volunteer with an older adult with sight loss. We hope to grow this initiative over the coming months to provide community, companionship, and resource information to those who join the program.
