Arlington Chapter

The Arlington Chapter spreads the Federation philosophy with a unique focus on guide dogs. Since several members use service animals, the chapter participates in activities with the local Guide Dogs for the Blind Puppy Club and collaborates with it for community outreach activities. The chapter presents information, writes names in braille and lets children pet their guide dogs at the Arlington Park Mall during October’s Meet the Blind Month. The Arlington Chapter presents information about blindness periodically at local businesses and health fairs.

Monthly chapter meetings are held the second Saturday of each month at the Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Members and guests are invited to enjoy refreshments during each monthly meeting, and all are welcome to join us for a second social event each month.
